William C. Tracy

William C. Tracy is an American author based in North Carolina and the founder of Space Wizard Science Fantasy, an independent press specializing in queer science fiction and fantasy, where he also works as editor and creative director. His fiction centers on the Dissolutionverse, a science-fantasy setting exploring gender, music-based magic, and fungal biology across the linked Dissolution Cycle and Biomass Conflux series, including The Seeds of Dissolution and Physical Magic. The Seeds of Dissolution received a special mention in the Self-Published Science Fiction Contest, and Physical Magic was a semifinalist in the Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off. He has also edited anthologies, including Lesbians in Space, which was shortlisted for a British Fantasy Award. Tracy is a regular presence at genre conventions, where he represents his press alongside his own writing.
