Zelda Knight

Zelda Knight, also known as Author Z. Knight and by her real name, Olivia E. Raymond, is an American writer, editor, and publisher. She holds an MA in Public History from the University of Louisville, where she has continued postgraduate study in Pan-African Studies, and runs Aurelia Leo, a Louisville-based speculative fiction press. Knight is best known for co-editing anthologies centering African and African diaspora voices in science fiction and fantasy, including Dominion: An Anthology of Speculative Fiction from Africa and the African Diaspora, which won the 2021 British Fantasy Award for Best Anthology and was a finalist for the same year's Locus Award for Best Anthology, and Africa Risen: A New Era of Speculative Fiction (2022), which was shortlisted for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work. She also writes her own fiction, including the Apex Astral Warriors series.
