More like this

The Armageddon Trilogy is Robert Rankin's early comic science-fiction/fantasy sequence: Armageddon: The Musical, They Came and Ate Us: Armageddon II: The B-Movie and The Suburban Book of the Dead: Armageddon III: The Remake. Written in Rankin's absurdist, very British comic style, it follows a chaotic future Earth through escalating, genre-parodying disasters and pop-culture pastiche rather than a straight continuing plot. Each volume's title signals its parody target as much as its place in the sequence.
