Carpathian is Christine Feehan's long-running paranormal romance series about an ancient, near-immortal species who slowly lose color and feeling until they find a lifemate who restores both. Starting with Dark Prince in 1999, each book pairs a different Carpathian hunter with a human or gifted heroine, moving between the Carpathian Mountains and modern settings worldwide as the couple confronts vampires and other supernatural threats.
