Orcs: Bad Blood is Stan Nicholls's follow-up trilogy to Orcs: First Blood, the series he's best known for, which tells epic fantasy from the point of view of orc characters rather than the usual human or elven heroes. This second trilogy returns to that same orc-eyed premise for three further novels, later collected in a single omnibus. It continues Nicholls's project of flipping fantasy's usual monster-and-hero roles rather than opening a new setting.
