The Plundered Chronicles is a shared steampunk world charted in airship lanes: brass hulls and hissing engines, sky-ports perched at the edge of the wilds, and a rogues' gallery of privateers, tinkers, and outlaws who earn their keep somewhere between the clouds and the ground. It is a mosaic rather than one long saga, assembled by a crew of independent authors — Shei Darksbane (writing here also as Annathesa Nikola Darksbane), Falcon Storm, R. J. Blain, and Robert Dahlen — each taking the wheel on a thread of their own through the same skies. Steel & Steam lays the founding run; from there the world branches into the Skyblade Saga, the voyages of the airship Bartholomew Black, the exploits of Catalina de la Corona, and further hands under titles like Steam and Skies, Nebulous Rising, and Beyond the Mire. Expect the honest seams of a collaboration — the tone shifts as the wheel changes hands. What binds it is appetite for adventure over grimness: heists and dogfights, cobbled contraptions and unlikely crews, more grease and grin than gloom.
