The End of Time
Michael Moorcock, Caitlín R. Kiernan & Steve Aylett · 4 novels · 3 novellas · 3 novelettes · 2 short stories · 2 collections · 1972–2011
Rebel at the End of Time is Steve Aylett's 2011 authorized prequel to Michael Moorcock's Dancers at the End of Time trilogy, itself set among the ageless, entropy-drunk decadents of a dying far future who reshape reality on a whim using inherited power rings. Aylett's novel follows a 21st-century revolutionary militant who arrives among them, in events later mostly forgotten by the time Moorcock's own An Alien Heat begins. It stands as a one-off addition to Moorcock's End of Time setting rather than a continuing series of its own.
