Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan's The Strain trilogy follows Goodweather and Holocaust survivor Abraham Setrakian as they race to stop an ancient vampire, the Master, from subjugating humanity, while Goodweather also tries to keep his own family safe from the outbreak. The story runs across The Strain, The Fall, and The Night Eternal.
