The Windrose Chronicles
Barbara Hambly · 4 novels · 5 novelettes · 1986–2015
The Windrose Chronicles is Barbara Hambly's fantasy quartet, opening with The Silent Tower and continuing through The Silicon Mage and the Locus Award-nominated Dog Wizard (Del Rey, 1993). Hambly, known for setting much of her fantasy and science fiction inside an explicit multiverse rather than one fixed world, extended the series with the later, more loosely connected Stranger at the Wedding. The core trilogy follows the same cast across all three books rather than functioning as standalone entries.
