The Wandering Inn opens on Erin Solstice, a young woman from Earth who stumbles penniless into a fantasy world where the living gain Levels, Classes, and Skills the way they gain scars. She has no sword and no magic. What she has is a building, and the nerve to hang out a sign that reads [Innkeeper]. Written by the pseudonymous pirateaba and posted chapter by chapter since 2016, this is one continuous story that has swelled into one of the longest ever told in English — gathered into numbered volumes, thick with interludes, and narrated by a cast that keeps widening far past Erin herself.
