Protagonist Bev Jones in conflict with a Great Britain run by the trade unions. It is an alternate history in the regard that George Orwell was shot during the Spanish Civil War and never came round to write 'Animal Farm' and '1984'. Analogue to the notes on Newspeak in Orwell's '1984' this novel has 'A note on Worker's English' at the end.
