Black Wind

Born in Japan but raised in America, Matsuo belongs fully to neither country once war between the two erupts, while his brother Hiroki has fallen in with a secretive, sinister cult back home. Spanning the years before and through World War II, this entry in the Secret History of the World follows Matsuo, the American Frank Slater who owes him a debt of honor, and Meiko, the woman all three men love, as loyalty and blood pull against each other.
