Corona

A living cloud of protostars called Corona threatens a team of Vulcan scientists studying it, and Kirk's rescue turns into something stranger once the crew realizes Corona isn't just dangerous — it might have the power to trigger a new universe. A visiting reporter and a newly installed computer with override authority over Kirk's own command make the mission almost as hard to manage as the entity itself.
