Doctor Dolittle in the Moon

Doctor Dolittle is on the moon! Luckily Tommy Stubbins, Chee-Chee the monkey, and Polynesia the parrot are with him. Here is a whole new world of animals and vegetables to study, including whispering vines and singing forests. On the moon, the doctor meets the wonderful vanity lilies, terribly intelligent flowers and brilliantly colored, as well. They help the good doctor, as does the gentle Man in the Moon himself. Once more, Doctor Dolittle ventures into the unknown for the sake of learning. But back on earth, in Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, Jip the dog and Too-Too the owl can only wonder if Doctor Dolittle will ever come home again.
