Two hundred gigametres across and apparently built from the matter of multiple star systems, the Dyson Sphere is an enigma, a habitat, and probably an archaeological treasure. Two Starfleet vessels go to investigate, hoping to find some clue about its origins - and arrive just in time to see it attacked by an unknown entity.
