Exordia

Exordia is a 2024 epic science fiction novel by American author Seth Dickinson. The story follows multiple protagonists in a nonlinear fashion following a devastating first contact event, and the pursuit of an artifact hidden on Earth that could change the ruling hierarchy of the galaxy. The novel explores themes of consciousness, free will, game theory, Kurdish nationalism, the mathematical universe hypothesis, divinity, and the simulation Hypothesis.
