Heavy Time

Freerunner Paul Dekker is found half-dead and drifting after an unlicensed corporate ore-extraction ship kills his partner Cory during a routine asteroid survey. Rescued by fellow prospectors Ben Pollard and Bird aboard the Trinidad, Dekker faces accusations of murder from Cory's politically connected mother while a corporate fixer works to bury what really happened, the opening move in a growing rivalry between the Belt's independent miners and the company that wants to own it.
