Interesting Times

Rincewind is dragged from his hard-won retirement on a desert island and dumped in the Agatean Empire, the Disc's vast and rigidly ordered analogue of the Orient, where a single scrawled pamphlet has set off a peasant uprising. Mistaken for the great wizard a prophecy demands, he's teamed with the ancient, wheezing Silver Horde of barbarian heroes for one last glorious heist, while an empire's succession hangs on everyone continuing to underestimate him.
