Knights of the Crown opens the Warriors series with the unlikely making of a hero: Pirvan, once a thief who dabbled in stealing spells, begins the long climb toward Solamnic knighthood by proving himself in the first and most basic virtue a squire must master, loyalty. It's an origin story built on the gap between who Pirvan was and who the Order of the Crown demands he become.
