Someone has sent a supernatural hit man after spoiled heiress Tammy Winslow. Don, Cat's ex-boss, gets Cat & Bones to guard her and they hole up at Cat's childhood house with ghost Fabian and Cat's mom. Visits to nearby vampire club Bite lead to clues, mayhem, and eventually to Tammy's safety. This takes place a few months after the novel Destined for an Early Grave, and before This Side of the Grave.
