Richard Heath Rohmer is a Canadian aviator, lawyer, adviser, author and historian. During the Second World War, he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a fighter-reconnaissance pilot, took part in D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He later served as Chief of Reserves of the Canadian Armed Forces from 1978 to 1981 and was granted the honorary rank of lieutenant-general in 2015.
