The Black Ospreys

Framed by the final battle of The Sun Sword, this novella reaches back twelve years to the founding of the Black Ospreys, a mercenary unit raised in the heart of the Dominion of Annagar at the order of one of the Empire's three Commanders. They take on the fighting the regular army can't, or won't, and earn the distinction of being the one banner the Dominion's soldiers learn to fear.
