In the small town of Flint City, a boy's brutal murder looks like an open-and-shut case: fingerprints, DNA and eyewitnesses all point to beloved Little League coach Terry Maitland. Detective Ralph Anderson arrests him in public, certain of his guilt, until it turns out Maitland has an alibi backed by video, fingerprints, and multiple witnesses placing him at a conference in another city at the time of the killing.
