The Radio Red Killer

(Cue: Intro Music) Bjorner: Tonight we have a very special show for you, "The Radio Red Killer", featuring Detective Marvia Plum of the Berkeley police. Bringing you the show is noted author Richard A. Lupoff, whose ongoing series of mysteries featuring Hobart Lindsey and Marvia Plum is, in the words of Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine, "one of the most enjoyable going." Detective Plum has just returned from Nevada, where she discovered her recent marriage wasn't all she thought it would be. Back on the beat in Berkeley, Plum finds herself investigating the city's denizens when a killer strikes at a local radio station. Detective Plum's investigation takes her into the milieu of old-time radio as she trails the killer of the man known as "Radio Red", Bob Bjorner. (Gulps.)
