The Technologists

In 1868, as the embattled Massachusetts Institute of Technology prepares to graduate its first class, a series of scientifically sophisticated man-made disasters strike Boston, inflaming public opposition to the school; in the face of widespread suspicion, the Tech students attempt to identify and apprehend the perpetrator, to save the future of the school and the reputation of technological progress.
