Daniel Gibbs

Daniel Gibbs is an American military science fiction author and former computer engineer who supported the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps as an IT specialist. He spent roughly two decades developing his science-fiction universe before publishing his debut novel in 2018. His main work is the Terran Diaspora series, including Echoes of War and its spin-off Breach of Faith, alongside further entries such as Battlegroup Z, Galaxy Bridge, Deception Fleet, and The Lost Warship. Gibbs deliberately writes interfaith crews into his space fleets, drawing on Christian, Jewish, and Muslim perspectives, inspired partly by Babylon 5; he cites David Weber's Mutineer's Moon as a formative influence on his approach to military science fiction.
