Ian Holt

Ian Holt is an American writer born in 1964, best known as co-author, with Dacre Stoker, of Dracula: The Un-Dead (2009), a novel presented as a sequel to Bram Stoker's original 1897 Dracula. The book draws on historical research into Bram Stoker's life and on characters and notes discarded from his original manuscript to continue the vampire's story beyond the events of the classic novel. Holt's background is primarily as a researcher and screenwriter specializing in the Dracula mythos, and Dracula: The Un-Dead remains his primary published novel to date.
