Kirkus Reviews (above) does not mention Quincey but notes a "vast cast of characters: Bram Stoker himself, as well as his nefarious Count, Jack the Ripper, Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, Oscar Wilde, 'blood Countess' Elizabeth Bathory ...". Wikipedia notes of Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed (1560–1614), "some insist she inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula (1897), though there is no evidence to support this hypothesis".
