Mary Kirchoff

Mary Kirchoff is an American author and editor born in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, best known for her work within the Dragonlance shared-world fantasy setting published by TSR. She wrote and co-wrote numerous Dragonlance novels, including Kendermore (1989) and Flint the King (1990), and she co-created the Dark Sun campaign setting with Troy Denning and Tim Brown. As an editor at TSR she rose to become vice president of marketing, publishing, and tabletop games at Wizards of the Coast, and is credited with discovering R. A. Salvatore's debut manuscript in the publisher's slush pile. Her books have been translated into more than nine languages, and she also contributed to the Endless Quest gamebook series.
