Randall N. Bills

Randall N. Bills is an American game designer and writer best known for two decades of work developing and writing fiction for the BattleTech franchise. He joined FASA as an assistant developer in the mid-1990s after years of fan involvement with the game, rose to become BattleTech's Line Developer by 2000, and wrote era-spanning novels for the setting including Path of Glory and Imminent Crisis. After FASA's closure he continued the line at FanPro and later helped found InMediaRes Productions and its Catalyst Game Labs imprint, which took over publishing BattleTech, Shadowrun, and related properties, with Bills serving as a managing director. His BattleTech bibliography also spans the MechWarrior Dark Age, Founding of the Clans, and Eridani Light Horse Chronicles series.
