Meg Murry

Madeleine L'Engle's Time Quintet follows Meg Murry, her younger brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin O'Keefe across a series of science-fantasy adventures that begin with A Wrinkle in Time (1962), in which the three children travel through space and time to rescue Meg's scientist father from a malevolent force threatening multiple worlds. The family's story continues through A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, and Many Waters, each expanding the family's confrontations with cosmic evil and moral choice into new settings and time periods. The four novels can be read as a continuous saga centered on the Murry family rather than on Meg alone.
