Around it orbit The Science Officer (two "seasons" of shorter, faster adventures), First Centurion Kosnett — the same war seen from the Imperial side — and the wider Republic of Aquitaine era, with offshoots like Warlord of Yaumgan, Handsome Rob, CS-405, and The Last Waltz filling in the corners. What carries it is momentum and character: brisk episodic installments, tactical duels resolved by wit, and a fondness for underdogs who refuse the odds. Newcomers have two clean doors.
