Delta Underground Operatives

Officially, Delta doesn't exist. The operatives who don't work there would tell you different — if talking about it weren't a firing offense, or something worse than firing. Delta Underground Operatives is a shared-world series built the way the agency itself runs: in partnerships. Every strand pairs two operatives and turns them loose on the jobs the ordinary world would rather not hear about. The world is assembled by many hands — Sarah Noffke, Nicole Grotepas, S. W. Clarke, Kat Lapatovich Healy, and Ben Zackheim — and it fans out across a roster of two-hander sub-series, each named for its duo: Clara & Damien, Eryn & Larcen, Cin & Gui, Amelia & Ichabod, and on down the field roster. Around them sit companion strands: Lightbeard's School for the Broken, where raw recruits are forged, and Delta Underground Operatives Retired, for the ones who made it out. There's no single master plot — the partnerships are the through-line. The register is buddy-team banter and brisk, case-driven momentum rather than deep mythology. Because each pair mostly stands alone, there's no wrong door in: pick the partnership whose name grabs you and start at that sub-series' first book.
