Team Hero follows a handful of young recruits who discover they carry extraordinary powers and are called to a secret academy to master them, then sent out to hold the line when monsters and the villains who command them come hunting. The threats keep coming; the heroes keep answering, one fast, illustrated mission at a time. This is a children's action-adventure series from the same studio behind Beast Quest, written under the shared house name "Adam Blade" — the real hands here include Michael Ford, Tabitha Jones and Tom Easton. The books are organized into numbered runs, Series 1 through 4, with occasional bumper specials, each slim volume a self-contained mission: a beast to face, a power to test, a scrape to fight clear of before the last page. Pitched at newly confident young readers, the appeal is speed and spectacle over slow worldbuilding — big powers, bigger creatures, short chapters that snap shut on a cliffhanger and pull you into the next.
