Firestorm

A covert Elasian mining operation collides with a Federation geological survey on the planet Rakatan, and the Enterprise is sent to mediate before the dispute turns violent. Uhura ends up leading the investigation into competing territorial claims while Kirk tries to hold the peace, and when a volcanic eruption and a rival Elasian fleet both arrive at once, mediation stops being an option.
