Fledgling

Theo Waitley is living on a Safe World that hosts one of the galaxy's top-ranked Universities. Then her mother, a junior professor, decides to move them to faculty housing and becomes embroiled in academic politics. Theo finds her life disrupted. Then it is disrupted further by an unexpected trip off-world, and the possibility of pilot training.
