Life in the North

John sets out for a quiet weekend of camping in the Yukon and gets the end of the world instead: a mystical wave called the System sweeps the planet, killing electronics, waking dormant magic, and handing ordinary people character sheets and game-like abilities overnight. As animals mutate and monsters start spawning around him, John has to figure out fast what his new abilities are worth if he wants to get home alive.
