At just 20 years old, Veterinary Nurse and Trainee Medical Officer Eva Hughes is the youngest junior officer aboard the SS Moraturi, a colony ship transporting 500 settlers and their animals to New Eden. Tasked with caring for the domestic and farm animals, Eva is focused on her dual dream of becoming both a veterinary and medical doctor. But everything changes when a gamma burst in the wormhole forces Eva into a role she never trained for: leader of a mission that's slipped out of space and time. As cryobeds fail, colonists wake with fragmented memories, and another wave of radiation hurls the ship into the unknown, Eva must confront an impossible challenge.
