Rescue at Waverly begins the adventures of mercenary leader Admiral Thaddeus Marcell. In this entry, his intelligence forces locate a woman he once knew from his lost homeworld of Earth. She is a slave being transported aboard a distant black market starship, and Thad must take a few of his fastest starships on a rescue mission to free her and hopefully find information about Earth.
