The Golden City

In Constantinople in 867, the emperor and the Order of the Ancients scheme to assassinate his own son and plunge the city into chaos. The Hidden Ones send Assassin acolyte Hytham to join his mentor, Basim Ibn Ishaq, to infiltrate the palace and stop the plot, while secretly tasked with discovering whether Basim's personal obsessions have compromised his loyalty to the brotherhood.
