The Stone Pilot

Told in the voice of Maugin, an aging sky pirate captain looking back on a formative chapter of her own past, this short Edge Chronicles piece was written for World Book Day and later folded into the anthology The Lost Barkscrolls. It sits early in the saga's internal chronology, adding texture to a supporting figure readers meet properly elsewhere. A brief, character-driven side story rather than a full quartet entry.
