World of Ptavvs

Telepath Larry Greenberg is hired to read the mind of an ancient alien found in a stasis field off the Belt, and the contact nearly costs him his own: the mind belongs to Kzanol, a Thrint, one of the megalomaniac slave-masters who ruled the galaxy a billion years ago and still believes the human race belongs to him. As Kzanol's consciousness fights for control, a hunt across the solar system for his lost mind-control technology follows close behind.
