Yesteryear

Back from a research trip through the Guardian of Forever, Spock finds an Andorian standing at his old post — Vulcan history now says he died as a boy, killed by a le-matya during his manhood trial. To fix the timeline he has to go back and become the stranger who saved his own life the first time: an older cousin calling himself Selek, present just long enough to pull young Spock from the beast's claws and watch his beloved pet sehlat die anyway.
