William Alan Webb is an American author of military science fiction and fantasy, recognized with multiple Darrell and Imadjinn Awards for his work. A self-described "Southern boy," he graduated from the University of Memphis with dual concentrations in history and creative writing before developing the survivalist Last Brigade series, which follows a National Guard unit holding together after an EMP-triggered societal collapse, alongside the Task Force Zombie spin-off and anthologies set in the same world. He has also written the sword-and-sorcery collection Sharp Steel and High Adventures and contributed to the collaborative Hit World series. Webb's fiction favors grounded, procedural survival detail and ensemble military casts, and his prolific output has made him a recurring award finalist in independent military fiction.
