Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks

Fighting Fantasy is a series of single-player role-playing gamebooks created by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, in which second-person narration and dice-based combat let the reader make choices that branch the story toward victory or a quick fictional death. Different authors wrote different volumes, mostly set in or around the shared fantasy world of Titan, ranging from dungeon crawls to space adventures. The line began in 1982 and continued for decades, becoming one of the best-known gamebook franchises alongside Choose Your Own Adventure.
