Sovereign-Verse
William D. Arand & A. D. Krabis · 14 series · 41 novels · 2016–2025
[System Notice: a new world has registered to your account.] Every protagonist here wakes to the same discovery — the world runs on rules you can read, and rules can be gamed. The Sovereign-Verse is the GameLit multiverse of William D. Arand (writing also as Randi Darren, and latterly alongside A. D. Krabis): a loose lattice of series bound less by one shared map than by a shared logic — stat sheets, skill trees, and system prompts blinking in the corner of reality, and the driven, unsentimental operators who learn to exploit them. Pick your flavor and the system obliges. Super Sales on Super Heroes drops a man with a pricing-and-upgrade power into a world of capes and villains, where people themselves can be bought and improved. Wild Wastes and Dungeon Deposed flip the board and set you inside the dungeon, building traps and empires from the monster's side of the door. Incubus Inc. and Fostering Faust deal in contracts, souls, and appetites; Save State Hero and the Selfless Hero Trilogy plug into full-dive virtual worlds where death is only a reload. Each series stands on its own — the connective tissue is thematic and cosmological, shown in glimpses rather than demanded up front. What ties it together is temperament: fast, escalating power-fantasy where the hero min-maxes his way to a kingdom, a company, or a harem — usually all three at once — with cheerful disregard for playing fair. Expect stat windows, blunt ambition, and romance stacked several deep. Newcomers start with Super Sales on Super Heroes for the superhero angle, or Dungeon Deposed for base-building; read either from book one, in publication order.
